Solar Thermal Domestic Hot Water
Solar Thermal Domestic Hot Water certificate
Install, maintain and commission solar thermal systems, which use the sun’s rays to provide hot water.

Once installed, solar thermal systems can provide people with hot water, lower energy bills and a smaller carbon footprint.1

Solar Photovoltaic
Solar Photovoltaic certificate
Select, install and commission solar PV systems.

Solar PV cells are placed on a roof to turn the sun’s rays into electricity. This can lower customers’ electricity bills and they can even sell excess electricity back to the National Grid to earn money.

Domestic Heat Pump Installer (Air & Ground Source)
Domestic Heat Pump Installer (Air & Ground Source) Certificate
Install heat pumps, which provide heat and hot water by converting energy from the air and ground.

Those with heat pumps could reduce fuel bills, CO2 emissions and wasted electricity.1

Energy Efficiency Part L
Energy Efficiency Part L Certificate
Work in people’s homes or small commercial units providing energy efficient plumbing and electrical solutions.

People can limit a building’s heat gains and losses and use no more fuel and power than is reasonable.2

Rainwater Harvesting
Rainwater Harvesting Certificate
Select, install and maintain different types of rainwater harvesting system commonly used in the UK.

Rainwater harvesting collects rainwater and stores it for later use. This can reduce the cost of the overall water supply and lower the risk of flooding.3

Grey Water Harvesting
Grey Water Harvesting Certificate
Select, install and maintain different types of grey water harvesting systems commonly used in the UK.

Grey water harvesting recycles the water you use in your home for things such as showers and washing machines. This can lower the cost of customers’ water supply.

Heat Recovery
Heat Recovery Certificate
Advise customers of ways they can recover wasted heat.
Install a variety of heat recovery systems in a domestic setting.

Heat recovery enables customers to collect and then re-use the heat they produce, which can lead to reduced energy bills and improved efficiency.
