Greenbuild
OLCI Construction Training partnered Greenbuild to create a unique 4 to 16 week work experience programme for successful learner applicants. OLCI learners could gain much needed experience to help them develop their skills within the industry, or maybe even build a career with Greenbuild.Greenbuild is a Property and Maintenance company that operate with a team of high quality tradesmen.
Home Jane
OLCI worked with Home Jane to help skilled tradespeople throughout the UK gain experience in a self-employed capacity.Home Jane undertakes everyday jobs such as hanging pictures, shelves and mirrors, as well as the larger projects such as bathroom refits or built-in storage solutions. The company employs plumbers, electricians, carpenters, decorators, and handywomen.
Camden Council and King Cross Construction Skills Centre
OLCI learners were able to be involved in an established recruitment process where they met potential employers – provided by Camden and the Kings Cross Construction Skills Centre. Learners were able to practice their interview skills, learn about a career in construction and gain some work experience.
