Our high standards of training are recognised by the UK’s principal accreditation and awarding bodies. We are also proud of our affiliations with numerous respected organisations within the construction industry and education sector.

City & Guilds

All OLCI training centres are approved by City & Guilds and their qualifications are available with a large number of our courses.

As a City & Guilds Key Account, we are one of their most respected training providers and are on a National Advisory Committee and other working committees. This means we are involved in the development of current and forthcoming City & Guilds plumbing and electrical qualifications.

Many of our plumbing and electrical courses train you for assessments in City & Guilds qualifications.

EAL – EMTA Awards Limited

All OLCI training centres are approved by EAL; a leading UK awarding body for the engineering, technology and building services engineering sectors.

Our EAL courses are suitable for people training to be domestic electrical installers or qualified plumbers.

Logic Certification

OLCI centres have been approved by Logic Certification to offer Domestic Gas ACS qualifications which is a requirement of registering on the Gas Safe Register.

Gas Safe Register

OLCI is registered on the Gas Safe Register and can offer learners the required ACS assessments needed to achieve their own registration.

Our main gas course prepares you for ACS assessments so you can then apply to become a Gas Safe Register engineer, allowing you to work with gas in the UK.

Our Gas Safe number is 300855.

BPEC Certification

A selection of OLCI centres are approved by BPEC to deliver its Water Regulations, Unvented Hot Water Systems and Gas Foundation courses.

NICEIC

NICEIC is the UK electrical contracting industry’s independent voluntary body with over 25,000 registered contractors*. NICEIC has now appointed OLCI as their Primary Training Partner on selected courses. This enables electrical contractors enrolled on NICEIC courses to attend OLCI’s state-of-the-art training centres for their in-centre training and assessments.

ELCAS

OLCI is an approved learning provider for the Enhanced Learning Credit Scheme - an initiative to promote lifelong learning amongst members of the Armed Forces. Enhanced Learning Credits can be used towards a number of our courses, including Plumbing NVQs and Electrotechnical NVQs.
